Vintage Lead Crystal Bridal Basket Silverplate Floral Frame 6” Sawtooth Bowl

Elegant vintage lead crystal bridal basket featuring a substantial, deeply ribbed crystal bowl set within an ornate silver-plated metal frame.
The bowl measures approximately 6 inches across and features vertical fluting, a starburst-style base, and a dramatic pointed sawtooth rim. The surrounding metal basket has delicate leaf and vine decoration, small ball feet, and a tall textured handle.
The metal frame is believed to be silver-plated. A magnet does not adhere to the metal. No maker’s mark has been identified.
The crystal bowl is exceptionally substantial and heavy, weighing nearly 3 pounds by itself. There are also small air bubbles visible throughout the glass, consistent with the manufacturing process and visible in the photographs.

Condition: Good vintage condition overall. There is one small chip at the tip of one point along the crystal rim, shown in the photographs. Small air bubbles are present throughout the crystal from manufacture. The metal frame shows normal age-related patina and surface wear. One leaf on the back side of the metal frame has a very small (8 mm x 5 mm) area of brownish/rust-colored discoloration on the tip, which appears limited to that individual leaf. No other significant damage noted.
