DESCRIPTION

Beautiful hand-blown art glass globe by Ocean Beaches Glass of Seal Rock, Oregon.

This substantial glass orb features a rich transparent teal/blue-green color with dramatic flowing sculptural designs worked throughout the surface. The varying thicknesses of the glass create wonderful depth and movement, especially when displayed in natural sunlight.

The globe is particularly beautiful when illuminated, with the light passing through the raised and recessed areas and creating shifting shades of deep teal, aqua, and smoky blue-green.

Please note: any lime-green coloration visible in some photographs is simply a reflection from the nearby wall and is not part of the glass color.

The base is impressed with the Ocean Beaches Glass, Seal Rock, Oregon Studio mark and also bears an etched artist signature.

Included is the black wrought-iron display stand shown in the photographs, featuring three curled feet.
