Beautiful hand-blown studio art glass float by Ocean Beaches Glassblowing of Seal Rock, Oregon, attributed to glass artist and studio founder Bob Meyer.

This substantial glass orb features a gorgeous transparent teal-blue / ocean blue-green color with dramatic free-flowing raised and recessed designs wrapping around the surface. The sculptural pattern gives the piece wonderful movement and depth, changing considerably as it is viewed from different angles.

The base bears the molded Ocean Beaches Glass/Seal Rock, Oregon studio identification. The glass is also artist-signed near the base

Bob Meyer founded Ocean Beaches Glassblowing on the Oregon Coast and became particularly known for his hand-blown glass floats, bowls, and vases, emphasizing color and the fluid qualities of molten glass.
